Suddenly, she was staring at something on the floor. Then she started moving closer to it, slowly stalking it like a cat. This all probably went on for a minute. Then she made her move and I couldn't tell you if she stepped on it, smashed it with her nose, or somehow killed it with her teeth. I got up to check out what she had and there it was: an upside-down, dead fly sitting on our kitchen tile.
She killed a fly... I don't even know how that works, but she did.
I can hardly kill flies with a flyswatter of 4"x4". I have to admit I was impressed. I mean, it's one thing for her to step on spiders, they can't fly. But an actual house fly, you know, with hundreds of eyes and sensors to detect your movements, aka, attempts to kill them?
I guess we can add "resident flyswatter" to her resume.
