Tuesday was a pretty great day, all in all. The weather is finally decent. It got to be about 80° and the sun was out most of the day. I actually got a little sunburnt too, which is ridiculous; I guess I'm just that flippin' pale. Then after lunch, I brought my laptop out and worked outside on the deck which was fantastic. It was perfect in the shade, and I know the dog enjoyed being outside too. She sniffed around all over the deck for an hour or so, then finally settled down on her mat next to me.
After work, I had a dentist appointment and all is good with my teeth. That's always a bit of a relief, isn't it? And this is the first time they didn't ask me about my flossing frequency, which must mean I am actually flossing enough these days! Woo hoo! I'm averaging about once a week, really, but it's better than nothing. I'm not saying I can't try to do more, but I'm not talented enough to just sit on the couch and do it while I watch TV like some people suggest.
After that, Josie and I took a short walk, but it was kind of hot, relatively speaking with the temps we've had. I joined mom for supper and then we went for another, longer walk though this time it had rained. But we made it pretty far, and all uphill for a while, so I was satisfied. Josie was ready to go the entire time; I don't know if she didn't like walking on the wet roads (which are still covered in tons of cinders) or what the deal was. When we got back she had the zoomies and was charging all over the house for a minute.
Today it was 80° like I said, right now it's storming, the temperature is dropping overnight, and by tomorrow morning it will be 30° and snowing. Can the atmosphere quit having such mood swings?
